Meet Belinda
Hi, I’m Belinda. I live in Tasmania, Australia. During the day I’m a teacher surrounded by my beautiful class of 4- and 5-year-old children.
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, and can’t wait to bring my children’s stories out in the world.
I grew up in the Snowy Mountains area, coming from a long line of Snowy Mountains people. After studying, traveling and working in various places I have settled in the mountains of Tasmania with my husband, five growing children and a farm full of animals.

When I’m not dreaming, I like to do things like walk, hike, ride a bike, swim, snowboard and travel – just kidding; I still dream while I am doing those things. I also like to play violin.

I adore floppy-eared animals (actually, I adore all animals)
I love sunsets and hope
I dream a lot (both night and day)
Why children’s stories?
I teach 4- and 5-year-old children every day. They are a lot of fun! Before that I had my own small children around me every day. In fact, I’ve always been surrounded by small children as we had foster children and day care children in my childhood home. Before that it was dollies and dreams.
